Shutters by the Sea
.....a vacation rental home in Seagrove Beach, Florida

Hurricane Dennis Damage
On July 10th 2005 hurricane Dennis hit the gulf coast as a catagory 1 storm with top winds of 90 mph. Fortunately for those of us on highway 30-A, the eye of the storm passed just 70 miles west near Navarre, FL. There was absolutley no damage to Shutters, but because of a series of storms and hurricanes over the past 10 months (Ivan, Arlene, and Cindy) the beach dunes have been serverly eroded. All 56 public beach access walkovers were destroyed, and access to the beach was severly limited.
